The Summer Academy invites young international artists to Dresden. Participants will have the opportunity to attend a course of their choice during the first week. The second week offers the possibility to continue working together in the artistic workshops of riesa efau. Kultur Forum Dresden.
The Summer Academy activities will take place both on the premises of riesa efau and in several venues in the city. We offer an inspiring, professional and entertaining encounter with numerous high-profile artists, 11 courses and a fascinating supporting programme.

the scholarship includes:
• participation fee for one of the courses during the first week
• travel costs and accommodation for participants from Czech Republic and Poland
because of a trans-regional support

artistic workshops of riesa efau
• Supporting programme with further scholarship holders from the Czech Republic, Poland and the USA
• Presentation with the academy‘s scholarship recipients, at Rösslstube e.V.
• Presentation of selected art works in the participants’ exhibition, Motorenhalle
WHO CAN APPLY
Young artists at the age of 20-35 years who work or study in the field of contemporary art/ design and speak English or German fluently.
