Department Student Council Fine Arts and History of Art

We are the Fine Arts and History of Art Department Student Council. We are also known as "Caspar's Children" in reference to the Romantic painter who gave our Institute its name.

Our tasks include planning various events such as Freshers' Week, supporting the annual Insomnale (an exhibition organised by art students with a jury from outside the university), our annual Christmas party and various student council evenings. Especially at the evening events organised by the Department Student Council, we like to use our connections to other department student councils so that we can always offer you some variety.

We are also involved in decision-making related to our Institute and campaign for the Institute's university and financial policies, which have a strong influence on teaching.

Last but not least, we are there to advise you on your studies and help you with any concerns you may have. So if you have any questions for us or would like to get involved in our small but mighty Institute, please get in touch.

We look forward to hearing from you!
