Eric Snell
With over 70 solo exhibitions to his name and with work in many public and private collections around the world Eric Snell has been involved in discussing the fundamental issues surrounding the whole process of making art. Recently described as a Conceptual Romantic Minimalist he has, from his earliest Magnetic Drawings, right through to his most current ‘horizon’ series, been examining and re-examining the whole concept of how different materials, processes and techniques can not only assist the visualization of an idea but can actually dictate the outcome. An alumnus of the Berlin DAAD artist in residence programme, an Arts Council of England International Research Fellow and with a strong on going interest in art education Eric Snell is now based in Wiltshire, England where he currently lives and works.
